Courtyard Social: Bedmo Disco - All dayer

Following their recent return to action via a successful evening session in our Courtyard, Bedmo Disco continues their 15th birthday celebrations with an all-day takeover edition of our Courtyard Social.

Bedmo Disco mainstays Awon and Matt Anniss will be digging deep in the crates and providing the perfect soundtrack to al-fresco drinking, dining and dancing. Although renowned as Bristol’s longest-serving disco and boogie crew – their first 12” single dropped 15 years ago this month - the duo will be showcasing the depth and variety of their bast music collections (circa 15,000 records in total, fact fans), offering up a slowly shifting mixture that will include everything from hip-hop, Balearic beats, soul and funk to African rhythms, tropical treats, electro, proto-house, vintage house obscurities, Latin grooves, street soul and dubby downtempo beats. As their sometime Bedminster-based MC Spencer Mizen is fond of saying, “there ain’t no party like a Bedmo party!”

In-house food from Jafra and Pizzarova, plus guest street food vendors on rotation.

2-4-1 cocktail happy hour from 6-7pm.
