LINE UP
Headlining our first event will be Kweku Sackey aka K.O.G (Kweku of Ghana) a multi-dimensional force of nature – a singer, rapper, percussionist, arranger and bandleader. His euphoric afro-fusion sound, shamanistic live performances and fierce patois rap style have seen him sign to legendary French label Heavenly Sweetness and join the likes of Thundercat, Femi Kuti and Fatman Scoop as well as to great acclaim on Jools Holland with Nubiyan Twist. Don’t miss this infectious and high energy performance from an inimitable artist.
We also welcome underground and uplifting sensation Afriquoi for a special DJ set with live percussion, showcasing an array of the band’s musical influences from deep afro vibes to house, techno and contemporary Afro sounds.
Kicking off the bill will be Jus Now brought together by a shared love of bass, rum and parties. Keshav, Serocee & Blasé Vanguard will be showing us the vibrant and exhilarating fusion of Trinidadian Soca rhythms with the sub heavy sound of the UK Underground. Expect carnival party energy.
