Family Day returns! After the smashing success of our previous family day, we’re so excited to bring it back on Sunday 7th May from 11:30-6pm.
As always we have a massive variety of family-focused activities planned to keep the kids (and adults) entertained throughout the day. Kids can get their faces painted with their favorite designs, or make their own crowns to wear proudly. And for the ultimate in bouncing fun, we’ll have a bouncy castle set up for kids of all ages to enjoy.
No need to worry about bringing food as we’ve got the it covered. Expect delicious food offerings from Pizzarova and Smoking Buns. Pizzarova will be serving up their famous wood-fired pizzas, made with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. Meanwhile, Smoking Buns will be dishing out their mouth-watering smash burgers.

World-famous animatronic polar-bear, Bjorn the Polar Bear, will be making special appearances at Winterland over the festive period. A cross between a petting zoo and a nature documentary, Bjorn’s show is an informal, magical and interactive experience. The ultimate winter-adventure for families, Bjorn loves to be petted, stroked and tickled behind the ears, so wrap up warm and prepare to be taken on an Arctic journey.
How do you know what a polar bear’s star sign is? Did you know that the word Arctic means ‘with bears’ and Antarctic means ‘without bears’? To find out more come and meet a polar bear named Bjorn; he’s friendly and totally gorgeous.
Discover what it’s like to get up close and personal with one of these amazing creatures and even give him a pat – if you’re feeling brave enough! Bjorn is accompanied by an Arctic conservationist who can tell you all about polar bears: what they eat, where they live and how they stay warm. A must for nature lovers of all ages, this magical show must be seen to be believed.
